Mike spent six years training to be a toolmaker this changed when he moved to GKN production engineering, training as a production engineer. Later he joined Deltaflow trialing the then new Acrylic tap tops,jumper vales etc. At Paxtons he managed the mouldshop.

He established Polymer Recruitment services in 1994 PRS recruits for the Plastics & Rubber Industries.
